Welcome to the Tiger Den! For the month of October we will focus on citizenship, which is one of our 12 core values. The Tiger Cubs will learn what it means to be a good citizen, the words to the Pledge of Allegiance (if not already known), why we say the Pledge of Allegiance, and we will discuss ways they can show that they are good citizens in their communities and schools. 

Parents please help us in our efforts by reinforcing the importance of being a good citizen.  There are two activities in the Tiger Cub Handbook that you should complete with your Tiger Cub to help them in their understanding of the word citizenship.
