Active Summer Time Award Recipients

2010,2011,2012,2013,2014 Pack Summertime Award.  The pack did three events over the summer with over 50 percent of scouts coming to events.

Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award

Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, and Webelos Scouts may earn the Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award.  This award recognizes the Scout for taking part in outdoor recreation and conservation projects.  In many cases, you can earn this award while doing other Scouting activities.  The primary requirement is to attend Cub Scout day camp or Cub Scout/Webelos Scout resident camp.  Boys may earn the award in each of the program years as long as the requirements are completed each year.  The first time the award is earned, the boy will receive the pocket flap award, which is to be worn on the right pocket flap of the uniform shirt.  Each successive time the award is earned, a wolf track pin may be added to the flap.

Outdoor Ethics Award

Tiger Cubs, Cub Scouts, Webelos Scouts, and Cub Scout Adult Leaders can earn the Outdoor Ethics Award.  Outdoor Ethics is a plan that helps us be more aware of our environment and protect it for future generations.  Outdoor Ethics applies in a backyard or local park setting ("frontcountry") as much as it does in the wilderness ("backcountry").  We should practice Outdoor Ethics in our attitude and actions wherever we go.

National Summertime Pack Award

A pack can qualify for the National Summertime Pack Award certificate and streamer by planning and conducting three pack activities—one each in June, July, and August.  Qualifying packs receive a colorful streamer for their pack flag.  Dens with at least half their members attending at least one pack (or den) event during each Summer month will be eligible for a colorful den participation ribbon.  Boys who participate in at least one pack (or den) event for each Summer month are eligible to receive the National Summertime Pack Award pin, which they can wear on the right pocket flap of their uniform.
