Cub Scout Pack 224 is chartered by the American Legion Sykesville Memorial Post No. 223 of Sykesville, Maryland and was founded in 2008. It is a member of the Carroll District in the Baltimore Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. It is also affiliated with Freedom Elementary School in Carroll County. Cub Scout Pack 224 was awarded the Journey to Excellence Gold Unit Award and the National Summertime Pack Award in 2011, 2012, and 2013.
Our pack has been active for over 5 years with a great leadership team. The pack tries to be as active as possible with not interfering with other youth sports and activities. We love to camp at least twice a year, offer training, and the scouts get to learn and get many awards through their ranks. Come join! Have a blast!
