YOUTH

You can join Venturing Crew 396 as ayouth if you are a young man or women who have not yet turned 21, whois age 14 or older, or is age 13 and completed the 8thgrade.  Tojoin, you'll need to follow several steps.

1. Readthe Crew Bylaws.

2. Comet ameeting.

3. Completethe New Youth Application.

4. Completethe Annual Health & Medical Record Parts A & B with yourparent.

5. Turin thesetwo forms to the Crew Secretary.

6. Payyour membershipfees to the Crew Treasurer ($10 for a shirt and $2.00 per monthremaining in our program year).

ADULTS

If you are age 21or over, you may be able tobe a part of venturing Crew 396 as an adult advisory committeemember.  To join, you'll need to follow several steps.

1. Readthe Crew Bylaws.

2. Comet ameeting.

3. Completethe New Adult Application (be sure to sign both themembership form and the background check).

4. Complete the YouthProtection Training for Ventures online at Scouting besure to print the certificate of completion.

5. OPTIONAL- alsocomplete the Venturing FAST START training on Scouting --it will really help introduce you to the program.

6. Completethe Annual Health & Medical Record Parts A & B.

7. Turin theapplication and Youth Protection certification to the Crew Advisor.

8. Payyour membership fees to the Crew Treasurer ($10 for a shirt and $2.00per month remaining in our program year).
