The Committee of Troop #222 is actively looking for interested members of our community to serve as Merit Badge Counselors. All subjects are needed. If you are interested in serving the community as a Merit Badge

Hello all,

I received an e-mail this morning from our Districts merit badge advisor with the new location and training dates and I want to pass it along.

Please remember that their is no reason why every single adult in our Troop isn't a councilor. You are ALL qualified in some way to be a councilor for something(s). All you have to do is take a simple course, tell them what you are qualified to help with and then do it.

Wouldn't it be nice if every adult/parent would get trained as a councilor so we wouldn't have to tell the boys we don't have a councilor for that one.

Remember, all I am asking you to do is help your son and the sons of others. So please talk to me if you have any questions about the upcoming training(s) and help us to help YOUR son.. You can find my contact info on the website........

The ones in bold are ones we have zero counselors for, however it would be nice if we could offer counselors for all of them.The ones in red require that you are an NRA certified instructor and the ones in blue will require Safety Afloat and Safe Swim Defense Training (available online)
