A "Wicked" Weekend in New York, February 2013

From February 1st-3rd, 2013, a group of six 7th & 8th graders travelled to NYC to see Wicked and visit the Metropolitan Museum, FAO Schwarz, Dylan's Candy Bar, and Rockefeller Plaza.  During our visit to Bloomingdale's, each of the girls received a free make-over from Estee Lauder.   On Saturday night, we enjoyed a great dinner out in the theater district and then a wonderful performance of Wicked.  While staying at HI-New York, we had the chance to meet not only Girl Scouts from other parts of the country but also people from around the world.  The adventure of traveling to and from Winchester entirely via public transportation kept the costs down and gave the girls a chance to travel by bus, subway, and train.

(I'll update with a few pictures soon)
