Welcome to the Pack 177 website! Our pack is open to boys from 1st grade through 5th grade and is a family oriented pack with a theme of ''many hands make light work". All of our volunteers strive to ensure a positive, quality scout program for all our boys. Our pack primarily serves the boys of Northvail Elementary school and Troy Hills Elementary School in Parsippany but anybody can join. Scouts work on badges and activities that helps them move through the ranks of Cub Scouts and prepares them for the great adventure of Boy Scouts. Scouting is fun with a purpose and there is no other youth program like it. Boys are placed in a den which is based on grade level and all the dens make up the pack. We have both den and pack activities through out the year. Our pack belongs to a district and the districts make up our council which is the Patriots' Path Council. Come, look around our website and see what a great program we offer. Scouting impacts the lives of all and makes the world a better place.

We meet on weekends at the homes of our scout families for den meetings, and together once a month for our pack meeting. Besides these pack meetings, we also conduct and attend various exciting and fun-filled pack and district sponsored Scouting activities such as: camping, archery, BB gun, pinewood derby car race, rocket launch, rain gutter regatta , field trips and visits, overnighters on a submarine and aircraft carrier.

We hope to welcome many 1st graders and others from 2nd to 5th grades to our pack !
