Scouting offers values-based learning opportunities...not only for boys but for the entire family.  But the number one reason for joining Cub Scouts.....is to have FUN!

There are hundreds of reasons why families choose scouting. Scouts learn important skills they'll use long after their scouting journey is over.  By introducing Scouts to a variety of activities, we hope to spark interests they will follow the rest of their lives. 

Camping, hiking, biking, sports, woodworking, fishing and community service are some of the activities traditionally associated with scouting.  But how about robotics, computing, engineering, civics and environmental stewardship? A scout who participates in the annual pinewood derby may discover an aptitude for carpentry, industrial design, aerodynamics or even physics.  You never know where your scouting experiences will take you.

Scouting promotes essential values such as respect, responsibility, faith, honesty, courage and compassion through activities designed around having fun!
