Being a scout is not only about fun...it’s about giving back.
Troop 278 Scouts have more than a good time. They contribute back to the community, providing service hours for events and those in need.
Our scouts provide house number curb painting as service and fundraiser to residents of the Town of Superior.
In the short time since our formation, our Eagle Scouts have worked with churches, charities and local municipalities to improve quality of life locally and abroad. Their impact can be seen in the community. Examples follow:
•Christ the Servant Lutheran Church - Prayer Garden
•Frisbee Golf Course in East Park
•Town of Superior Hall - Garden bench
•Bus Benches - Rock Creek Parkway
•Asti Park - Bar-B-Que
•Sister Carmen - Assembling food boxes for distribution
•United Methodist Church of Louisville - Pre-school play area
