Message From Troop Trainer - Adult Help Needed Please
Adults who would like to volunteer to help at troop functions (i.e. event drivers, scout leaders, etc.) are required by the BSA (Boy Scouts of America) to complete at least some BSA basic Adult Leader training coursework. Your willingness to help will allow your child and the troop to achieve the maximum benefits from Scouting. Training details are explained in the document below and on the following website:
www.scouting.org . Each online training module takes approximately 45 minutes. Please print out the training certificate for each course you complete. Also, please submit a copy of the training certificate to the Troop Trainer or a Troop leader. The Youth Protection course will be the first required course.
