Any boy in first through fifth grades may join the Cub Scouts at any time during the year, but most new scouts sign up between April and September so that they are able to complete a full year of scouting.
The annual dues to join Pack 177 are currently $75.00 for the first scout, and $70.00 for each additional scout in the same family. For an additional $12.00, your scout will receive a yearly subscription to Boy's Life magazine.
The Pack has an annual fundraiser each Fall, during which, each scout family is asked to sell popcorn. This fundraiser provides us with most of the additional funds that the Pack needs to cover the cost of providing a full scouting program for each child. Therefore, we require all scouts to participate in this fundraising event to the best of their ability.
