Troop 425 is the only Boy Scout Troop on Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH). The Troop is chartered by the St. John Lutheran Church of Kailua.
Troop 425 is part of the Ko'olau District, of the Aloha Council. Stop by and visit, and see what our troop has to offer. We strive to provide an active boy-led program, that focuses on developing leadership traits, high moral character, self-sufficiency, love of country and community, outdoor skills, and teamwork in our young men. We meet each Tuesday night, and normally have one weekend overnight outing per month (campout, hike, etc...).
Our troop normally consists of about 20-25 active boys divided into 3 patrols. Our numbers fluctuate in the summer/fall based on the military nature of the troop, but this is our normal size. We hold leadership elections twice a year (summer/winter) to allow eligible boys the opportunity to experience different leadership roles within the troop.
