Are you a Merit Badge Counselor (MBC) interested in lending your expertise to Merit Badge Adventure? If so, WE WANT YOU to join our MBC team! Having more counselors helps us offer more merit badges while keeping our class size ratios small.
Not interested in running a session but still want to help as an opportunity to learn the MBC ropes? We can pair you up with a registered counselor where you can help and observe the merit badge process. This will give you a chance to see a merit badge or two in action that you're interested in becoming a MBC for. You need NOT be experienced!!
We offer all of our counselors your own classroom equipped with:
- hookups for your own laptop so you have the ability to do PowerPoint presentations
- projector accessibility through your laptop
- whiteboards
- smartboard
- TV with DVD
If you need something extra, PLEASE let us know so we can work on getting it, if possible.
Nothing beats the satisfaction of knowing you have helped scouts learn and earn merit badges in your area of interest which makes a Scout 'Prepared. For Life.' while introducing them to the ADVENTURE of merit badges.
We really look for those LEAST earned and UNUSUAL merit badges. For complex merit badges, you can start at MB Adventure and finish with a date after. MB Aventure will help with the after workshop planning details, registration and getting the word out.
