Throughout the year Pack 13 does a variety of fundraising efforts to "help our Pack go and help our cub scouts grow". Without fundraising - our fees to cover books, patches and supplies would have to be much higher, limiting scouting to only those who could afford it. The boys can also earn money in their accounts to pay for dues and camps.
Some of these fundraisers- like Popcorn Sales our organized on the national level by Boy Scouts of America and we follow their schedule for sales. Others are done by our local council (spring candy bar sales), and then we do a few at our local Pack level (wreath sales, spaghetti supper, car washes).
Unfortunately with the schedule for popcorn sales, and the seasonal nature of wreath sales it does seem like your hit with two major fundraisers right away. We understand the burden this creates on the scouts and families. All we ask is that you "do your best".
