Boy Scouting has been active part of the Ware community for as long as it has been formed, since 1910.

We are looking for information about past programs.  The last Troop in Ware disbanded in the late 1990s, Troop 139 at the United Methodist Church.  Prior to that, Troop 281 sponsored by the VFW Post was very active until it folded in the late 1980s. Troop 167 was active until the late 1980s.  Troop 577 lasted until the late 60's.  Ware even had an Explorer Post at Mary Lane Hospital until the mid 80s.
