Frequently Asked Questions

What are the requirements to join Cub Scouts?

There are grade or age requirements for each rank. Tiger Cubs must be entering 1st grade or age 7, Cub Scouts must be entering 2nd or 3rd grades or age 8 or 9 and Webelos Scouts must be entering 4th or 5th grade or age 10.

What does Scouting offer my son?

How does participation in Scouts affect participation in other activities?

Tuesday nights tend to be "Scout nights".  Although some activities may occur on the weekend, most Pack and Den meetings occur on Tuesdays.  The typical time commitment is two Den Meetings and one Pack Meeting per month.

Boys who participate in organized sports (soccer, baseball, basketball, etc) or academic-based extracurricular activities (music, art, science, etc) can be recognized for these activities through Cub Scout belt loops or pins worn on their uniforms.
