Pack 248 is located in Norman, Oklahoma...approximately 24 miles south of Oklahoma City.
Cub Scouts is part of the larger national organization of Boy Scouts of America. It is our goal to provide a very exciting program filled with the Spirit of Scouting.
We hope each of our Scouts will continue to advance in the Scouting program not because of the badge of rank they may earn, but because of what they may learn about themselves, their families, others, God, and their country.
The Cub Scouts meets every Monday at the Crosspointe Church at 2601 24th Ave SE in Norman, Oklahoma. If you are interested in joining the Pack, please contact us.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT
Joining Cub Scouts
Any boy in the first through fifth grade is welcome to join Cub Scouts. Den’s begin forming in early September, but a boy can join at any time during the year.
Registration
The registration fee for joining pays for registration with the Boy Scouts of America, unit insurance, an annual subscription to Boys’ Life magazine, and leader training. The registration fee should be turned in to the Cubmaster along with the Cub Scout application.
Uniforms
An essential component of Cub Scouting is the uniform. Cub Scouts are made to feel part of a group and have a place to display their awards when they wear their uniforms. The uniform consists of a blue uniform shirt with all patches (Council, Pack number, Den number, World Scouting insignia, and rank), appropriate neckerchief and a neckerchief slide. Hats and belts are optional parts of the uniform.
Other Needed Items
New Scouts should also purchase the appropriate Handbook for their rank. Uniforms and Handbooks are available on-line at www.scoutstuff.org/bsasupply. In addition to a uniform, one needs to purchase a Handbook for your boy’s rank.
Scholarships
Please note that we believe that financial concerns should not prevent a boy from enjoying Cub Scouting. If you have concerns over the cost of joining the Pack, contact the Cubmaster. All such discussions are kept strictly confidential within the Pack Committee.
