Welcome To Pack 314

We are chartered by American Legion Post 555 in Westminster, California, and are members of the Orange Frontier District of the Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America. We have a great program for boys in first through fifth grades. Most of our members attend Eastwood and Sequoia Elementary Schools, but we welcome other boys in the area who are interested in joining Cub Scouting.

We hope you enjoy this website and invite you to come and see just what scouting is all about.

Come! Be A Part Of The Pack. Follow The Trail.

What do we do in Pack 314?

Cub Scout Activities

  • Den Meetings:
Your son will meet with a group of other boys who are in his grade. This provides him a chance to make new friends and do new activities with a close group of friends.
  • Pack Meetings:
This is a meeting for all Cub Scouts and parents to get to gather to recognize their sons for the achievements they have accomplished during each month. Skits, songs and plays are just a few activities during a Pack meeting.
  • Outdoor Activities:
Monthly Outdoor activities are planned at both the Den and Pack levels; activities may include: hiking, fishing, or camping trips (and more).
  • Pinewood Derby Races:
Pack competition where the Cub Scout makes and races a car for competition.
  • Rain Gutter Regatta Races:
Pack competition where the Cub Scout makes and races a boat for competition.
  • Space Derby Races:
Pack competition where the Cub Scout makes and races a Rocket for competition.
  • Day Camp:
Weekday camping at various city parks during the summer. Action oriented. Involves games, crafts, skills, nature, archery and, at some locations, BB gun instruction.
  • Tiger Cub Safari:
First activity for new Tiger Cubs (1st grade) and their Tiger Partner (parent).
  • Partner and Pal:
A camping overnight for the Wolf and Bear Scouts and their adult partner, to experience camping as a Cub Scout for the first time. There are three Partner and Pal events held at OSO Lake each year.
  • Webelos Woods:
A camping overnight for the Webelos, and a Day camp for Bears, held once a year at Eldorado Regional Park, in Long Beach. This is an opportunity for Webelos and Bears to experience camping as a Boy Scout, with Boy Scouts from local Troops.
  • Blue & Gold Banquet:
Large pack meeting held in the Spring, where families come together to celebrate the birthday of the Cub Scout program. Advancement programs and skits are the main attraction of the night.
  • Scouting For Food:
A service project that takes place between September and November. Over 20,000 Scouts collect 530,000 pounds of food for area food shelves. Largest national service project for the Boy Scouts of America.
