Chartered in the Spring of 2004, we are one of the Westbank's newest Troops, but our Scouts and Leaders are certainly not new to Scouting. Our leaders have over 50 years of combined Scouting leadership and youth mentoring. All leaders are Youth Protection and leader-specific trained. We offer a varied program encouraging achievement through merits and rank advancement. And Scouting is far from it! Our leaders are active in the community, casting a positive example on our youth and opening new doors to Scouting opportunity. Through the American Legion, Sons of the American Legion, Rotary International, American Red Cross and so much more, we are able to expose our boys to much more than the Scouting program.

Our youth? Only the best!

Our boys come from all over the metro New Orleans area. From Lakeview to Luling to Algiers to Gretna, we serve boys and their families in true Scouting spirit. Our Scouts attend different schools, different churches and are active in many different organizations. They are able to meet and interact with others, not only from their own school or neighborhood. This is where lifelong friendships are forged. 

You are always welcome to attend one of our Scout gatherings and have some fun. We are sure you will agree, that Troop 1101 is the place to be.
