Troop 149 Fort Leonard Wood, MO

Troop 149 was rechartered on Fort Leonard Wood, MO in November 2013. The troop serves the Fort Leonard Wood community. We are comprised mostly of Scouts from military families who are familiar with moving frequently and finding a new troop at each new location. We strive to make the transition into our troop seamless. You do not need to be a military child to be part of Troop 149; boys residing on post and off post are welcome to join the troop as new Scouts crossing over from Webelos, transferring Scouts from another troop, or boys brand new to Scouting.

Troop 149 takes advantage of the many outdoor activities available in Missouri such as hiking, canoeing, caving, and fishing. Being in the heart of the Mark Twain National Forest gives the troop excellent resources to participate in outdoor activities.

The Troop meets on Thursday nights at the former Audie Murphy Community Center, Building 7391 (Street Address is 4735 Buckeye Avenue) from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
