Welcome to Pack 740's Website!!!

Send us a message via the Contact Our Pack link above for more information on joining Cub Scouts.

A little about us, Pack 740 has been around since 1980. We have traditionally been out of Hollydale elementary school.
In 2009 we began accepting students from North Gresham Elementary school and in 2011 we began accepting boys from West Gresham. Our Pack likes to provide many opportunities for boys to learn, interact, and most of all have fun!  We also feel it is very important to stay involved in our community so we participate in monthly service projects .

Welcome the the Pack 740 Website. We have a great group of boys and families and we always welcome new Scouts to join us all year long. Our boys have many opportunities to learn new skills and participate in new activities each month. Cub Scouting centers around 12 Core Values: Cooperation, Responsibility, Citizenship, Respect, Positive Attitude, Resourcefulness, Compassion, Faith, Health and Fitness, Perseverance, Courage, and Honesty. It is our goal to provide a variety of opportunities year round to teach and reinforce these Core Values while having lots of FUN!!

We have a very active Pack that makes a point of keeping the Outing in Scouting by spending a much time as possible outside hiking, camping, and getting involved with conservation related service projects. We also participate in other community based service projects such as volunteering at the Oregon Food Bank and Snow Cap, the Memorial Day Flag Placement, and Scouting for Food. Throughout the year we also get together for recreational outings such as a trip to the pumpkin patch, discount event tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters and Monster Truck Jam, enjoying a snow day at Mt. Hood, and attending a Krayon Kids musical. Participation in all these kinds of activities and outings earn Scouts special segments that are worn on their uniforms and are special remembrances of great times.

Within our Pack we are broken out into Dens based on grade level in school. It is within these Den's that boys earn their rank awards of Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and WEBELOS before finally tranistioning over to Boy Scouts in the middle of 5th grade. Boys form special friendships within these Dens and our Pack and so do out parents. Our Pack is 100% volunteer run and we encourage all parents to "Get Involved" it is such a rewarding feeling to know that You were part of your child's advancement and creating fun memories that will last a lifetime.

Thanks so much for visiting our site and if you have any questions please click on the "Contact Our Pack" section above and one of our Pack leaders will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks!
