Are you a first to fifth grader and interest in joining Cub Scouts?

We are a very active pack on the west side of Vancouver, WA, that draws mainly from Harney Elementary School, Hough Elementary School, and Washington Elementary School. We were charted by Trinity Lutheran and meetings occur at Harney Elementary School. During the school year we have 3 Den Meetings (age group), 1 Pack Meeting (whole group) and 1-2 Pack Outings a month. During the summer we have Pack Meetings, Pack Outings (including multiple night camping trips), plus traditional Cub Scout Summer Camp!

Each year the schedule can include: rank advancement, Leave No Trace Award, World Conservation Award, Cub Scout Activity Award, Cyber Chip, Emergency Preparedness Award, Cub Scout Olympics, Scouting for Food, Tree Recycling, Scout Sunday, Blue and Gold Banquet, short and long hikes, professional sports events, collage sports events, historical sites like Cedar Grist Mill/Chelatchie Prairie Train/Barlow Trail Hike/Ft Vancouver, Naydenov Gymnastics, Pumpkin Patch, Clark County Museum & walking tour of downtown, Parade, Mount View Ice Area, Portland Winter Hawk Game, Snow Tubing, Mud Cubs, Swimming, Geocache, Pinewood Derby (for adults too!), Bike Rodeo, Camping in Oregon & Washington, Service Projects like Tree Planting/Trail Restoration/Cemetery Cleanups, World Forestry Center, Cooking, Public Speaking, Fundraising and much more!

What is also unique about Cub Scout Pack 563 is that with monthly dues ($15) and fundraising we are able to pay for each Cub Scout's neckerchief & slide, outings, badges/awards, no school day outings, and summer camp.
