Pack 64 was established in 2013. Our leaders are devoted in developing our scouts to become model citizens while incorporating fun events for our boys to enjoy. Our Pack is comprised of boys and their adult partners from the Wolf Ranch community, Ranch Creek Elementary and our surrounding neighbors in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are chartered by Friends of Scouting in Colorado Springs. Boys are eligible to join our pack at any time starting in first grade. Cub Scout Pack 64 is part of District 20 and the Pikes Peak Council of the Boy Scouts of America. We participate in numerous activities throughout the year, including Pack camping trips, Pinewood Derby races, Rocket Day, Mega Water War, and several other fun-filled events. But more importantly, Cub Scout Pack 64 contributes to our local community through several community service projects, the cornerstone being the annual Scouting For Food drive.
It's about the boys! The focus of our Pack is our scouts. Our message is simple. In the words of scouting founder Sir Robert Baden-Powell, "The real way to get happiness is by giving out happiness to other people. Try and leave this world a little better than you found it." We do this by focusing on the Cub Scout Promise values of God, Country, Others and Self.
We strive to show boys and their families things that they would not typically see, teach boys and their families things that they would not normally learn, and do things as a group that boys and their families may not find time to do!
