Sailing, service, outdoor adventures, and leadership opportunities are the rewards of young seafarers who join the new Westbrook-based Sea Scout Ship Stars and Stripes 1784. Sponsored by the Westbrook Elks Lodge 1784, our co-ed youth organization is guided by regional Sea Scout Commodore Marshall Parsons.

Brewers Pilot's Point Marina has offered their support to the lodge's new endeavor. They have agreed to let the new Stars and Stripes Sea Scout Ship #1784 call the Westbrook marina its home port. The marina also provides boats from its sailing school and two Stars and Stripes racing hulls for Sea Scout training.

For additional information about becoming a Ship 1784 Stars & Stripes Sea Scout, contact either Skipper Marshall Parsons at twinpars@earthlink.net or P.W. Louthain (Westbrook Elks Lodge Sea Scout Ship liaison) at pw_louthain@comcast.net.
