We are a Boy Scouts of America Cub Scout Pack founded in 2002 of about 50 families.  We meet weekly on Mondays evenings at our Charter organization, Woodstock Community Church in Woodstock, Georgia. The Pack is part of the Atlanta Area Council and our Unit is within the Appalachian Trail District.  Our Pack has earned the BSA Journey to Excellence Gold Unit Award which is a great honor for our Leaders and Scouts for going that extra step to have a Quality Program.

We are a year-round Program that meets weekly during the Cherokee County School Year. We plan at least two Summer Time Pack Activities as well. We have camp out events and lots of other fun outdoor activities. Our aim is to teach our boys how to be respectful, confident, and capable young men while having an awful lot of fun.

Pack 4900 has at least one major event for our scouts in every month:

August - New Scout Registration, School clean-up
September - Pack Campout, POPCORN
October - Halloween campout, Webelos Webeloree/Camporee, POPCORN
November - Gladiators Hockey Game, Skyzone Party, Game Truck Celebration
December - Pack Holiday Party, Woodstock Christmas Parade and Caroling at the Retirement Center
January- Pinewood Derby and Overnight Lock-In Party
February - Blue and Gold Banquet, Arrow of Light, USS Yorktown Sleepover
March - Scouting for Food and Harlem Globetrotters
April - Campout and Hot Wheels Skating
May - Pack Graduation, Water Bottle Rockets and Flag Placement on Memorial Day
June - Summertime Pack Activities - Swimming and Cleanup, Space Camp
July - Summertime Pack Activities - 4th of July Grill out and Fireworks, Raingutter Regatta, Rome Braves game
December - Pack Holiday Party, Woodstock Christmas Parade and Caroling at the Retirement center

Plus our Quarterly Cleanup/Community Service at WoodStock Elementary as part of the BSA Adopt-a-School Program.

Safety and privacy of all scouts is our highest priority, for that reason this is a private site. Only general Cub Scout information can be found on the public pages. If you or your son are interested in joining a Cub Scout Pack and you're looking for general information about scouting, our public site is a good place to start.  We hold the safety of our youth in the highest regard, therefore only members of our pack have access to the Private Members Part of our web site.   If you would like more information regarding our pack, or scouting in general, please contact us at cubmaster@pack4900.com .

To gain access to this site you will either receive an email invitation after your son has joined Pack 4900 or you may request access to the site by emailing one of our scout leaders. If you are making a request for access to this site please include your name, your scouts name, and which den your scout is in or is joining.

What's in the private members site?

The private members site is the go to place for scouts, parents and leaders. Here's some of the features inside.

Shared Calendar. Helps parents and leaders keep up with important dates and manage pack events. Click on an item in the calendar and get all of the event details, including driving directions and any forms such as permission slips or medical forms that may need to be completed by parents. Track RSVP responses to get an accurate head count  of attendees. Record event fee payments. Attach maps, forms, and flyers.

Broadcast Emails. Simplify communications with broadcast e-mails (available to scout leaders only). Broadcast to the whole pack or select groups like leaders, parents or specific dens. Send reminders and event updates to members.

Photo Albums. Share the memories with photo albums. Maybe you were not able to attend an event or someone else took a picture of your scout that you want. With shared photo albums now everyone can share those special moments.

Searchable Knowledge Base. Wondering what to bring with  you on a camping trip? What costs does the annual pack dues cover? How does my scouts bank account work and what can I use the money for? Find answers to your questions by searching the knowledge base.

Searchable Rank Handbooks. Out and about doing things with the family and wondering if what you're doing can somehow help your scout with an achievement, elective, loop, pin or badge? Log into your member account from your portable device and search the handbook for answers.

And much more. Join our private site today and have all the information you need and want at your fingertips.
